Canopies are sized 6 to 24m wide. Sea Containers make strong supports, they are quick ballast, easy to install and lock down. Steel walls permit welding and spray painting, with a good lock up. We have always favoured recyclable PE's, designed in Japan and Australia, but now we will ensure covers reach recycling at the end of their life.
Aluminium Industrial Tents and Steel Pavilions are the biggest fabric structures available and hard working structures. Many options of roof styles - fancy to no frills, fabric or solid walls, sizes up to 100 meters wide. We have been assured new heavy duty, fully sustainable and genuinely reclyclable "coated canvas"" fabrics are on their way to replace toxic PVC's.
We dropped larger aerostat and air tube fabric structures this year as they measured up as impractical, highly toxic, and unsustainable due to fire proof fabrics required for public places. Thanks to recyclable PE's (and new coated canvas tba) buildings and bouncies will live on!
Hull Arch Shelters are our preferred fabric roof for Queensland installations if viable. Heat is channelled to gable but more importantly roof style handles windy wet weather more efficiently.
Dome Arch Shelters can have side posts or double truss frames 1 to 10 Meters High, or can be mounted on ground. Domes make excellent storage sheds, workshops and site shelters or aircraft "shade" hangars.
Needing a bigger relocatable Arch Shelter? We were thrilled to find these steel Euro Super Arches that can be aviation and public event grade (full fireproof) or standard fire retardent.Unfortunately we have had to drop the idea of fire proof fabrics until we find a safe disposal system, due to their toxicity.

A Fabric Structure roof is a cooler option to most tin, steel or aluminium roofs that can absorb heat from our sun and enviroment raising the inside and underneath temperatures to as much as 55 degrees. Canopies on the other hand deflect heat making them delightful to work and play beneath. An Arch Shelters can be fully enclosed to permit airconditioning which is surprisingly efficient and can be improved further by adding of a second roof insulating skin.
Fabric Arch Shelters are available engineered up to Cyclone 4 wind speeds (232-kph), but as both Yasi and Debbie exceeded local wind speed certifications by almost 40 kph, users and suppliers have recognized that these weather events are increasing and structures sold in years gone by would or will, most likely fail.
The recommendation today is to purchase a Rated 2 or 3 Fabric Structure and be prepared to remove canopy if a cyclone appears it will make landfall ... steel hoops should be dismantled also for Cat 3 plus.

Custom Designed Steel Shade Structures and Pavilions cyclone engineered Steel Pavilions do exist and are available for quote for extra special needs. Design is most commonly handled in Australia, manufacturing and engineering is handled in Europe, China and Australia later this year again!
Note: Fabric structures unless specifically engineered are not recommended at all
in the Cyclone Season North of Cooktown (Kowanyama) meridian and for any FNQ locality that is less than 250 km inland from the coast.
