Fabric and Steel Arch Shelters
Splash Fabric Arch Shelters (soft tops) are industrial strength fabric structures that, in the past, have been made from galvanized steel frames with strong PE, PVC's (now dropped) or Shade Cloth covers.
Unfortunately due to ignorance, a lack of accountability or simply the scarcity of recycling facilities, most fabric covers globally are destined for landfill at their end of life, to break down over centuries into poisons and microplastics, with devastating consequences to the environment. We will now guarantee to follow the life of a cover to its end of life, to ensure that it is recycled. A great opportunity for dedicated recyclers. We expect to announce some biodegrable solutions in the new year.
Arch Shelters are not tents, they are engineered structures that come under the same building codes as regular buildings, which means they have beem engineered in the past to be used safely in cyclone regions. As Global warming has drastically altered Queensland weather patterns, we now draw the line of Cyclone/Hurricane Rating at Region Rating 3.
Fabric Roofs are cool and airy in summer and pleasant in winter, which makes them delightful to work and play beneath. Portability is convenient to many industries, and they are also very easy to maintain as animals shelters and enclosures.
Arch Shelters have a host of uses and are popular in Australia with many industries, e.g. growers, livestock, orchardists, events, entertainment, sports, and mining as shade or fully enclosed buildings. which have many functions and are used from Produce and Seafood Packing Sheds to Events Pavilions for Sports and Events. Semi Permanent siting is ok for sites that are a minimum 150k inland from the North Queensland Coast or maximum 120kph wind speeds!
