2025 Sustainable Structures?

We are pleased to announce the resumption of local manufacture for key structures and will announce a range of spectacular new sustainable structures early new year.

It's a bitter pill to swallow that your industry is a potent contributor to the poisoning of landfill and waterways, so we took a genuine look and came up with some great solutions

Container Shelters

Container Covers and Shelters

Starting at 6 m width steel containers are easy and quick to position, add instant ballast and make excellent fireproof walls with security lock up.

Hull Arch Shelters

Hull Roof Shelters

Hull Roof Arch Shelters take heat to the apex and handle wind and rain better than most roof types. Perfect for aircraft shelters. [24M shown]

Hangar Arch Shelters

Hangar Domes Fabric Structures

Hangar shaped Arch Shelters have flat side walls good for fair weather localities. Make excellent sheds, warehouses and aircraft hangars.

Super Arch Shelters

Large Fabric Domes

I was negotiating these fab European structures on the eve of Covid, when I returned home with one of the first cases. Unfortunately have not made it down under yet!

Industrial Tents

PVC Pavilions

The biggest of the range aluminium tents are hardworking structures and some are not out to win any glamour awards, sustainable PE spaces up to 60 m wide!

Air Arch Shelters

Inflatable Buildings Sunshine Coast

We realised air supported structures and bouncies, popular in Europe for decades use some of the most toxic fabrics, so we expect to announce our sustainable solutions early 2025.

Sunshine Coast Fabric Structures & Industrial Tents

Arch Shelters (Fabric Structures) have been a popular portable buildings solution in Queensland for   mining, aviation, rural, earth moving, construction and general industries as shade shelters or fully enclosed buildings   for close to 30 years.

Fabric Structures  are a cooler, airier option to metal roofs for a storage, work or play space and comfortable as Animal Shelters too.

The difference between a "tent" and "arch shelter" is fundamentally the engineering.  Arch Shelters are designed to fall in line with Australian Building Codes using strong tensioned membranes over steel frames.  Ballast is calculated in accordance with Region Weather Ratings including some Cyclone Regions.

Industrial Tents  are a selection of Aluminum or Steel Pavilions which are the largest sized fabric structures available, up to 100 meters in width. Commonly used for temporary events and entertainment uses, they also have many industrial applications such as industrial barns and packing sheds.  Permanent siting of Industrial Tents is ok beyond the Cyclone Belt ... i.e. 100-150k inland from the Queensland Coast or a maximum120kph locality wind speeds/gusts.

Splash (Marketing) began marketing and installing Shelters in Cairns in 1998, we became Splash Structures around 2000. We really understand the cyclonic nature of the tropics and never try to push unsuited structures into this region.  Arch Shelter is a registered brand business name belonging to Splash Business Group Pty Ltd.
